We met just after Christmas of 2021, both joining Hinge during the tough times of COVID when meeting new people felt nearly impossible and so many places were closed. Our first date on January 7, 2022 took us to a miniature golf course—something Jaylen had wanted to try for a while. We had so much fun that the next morning, he called to plan another date. On our second date, we made music playlists, sharing old songs we grew up with, and sipped wine as we bonded over our favorites. By February 8, 2022, we made it official, and since then, we’ve been together. Our connection has only grown stronger with each passing day, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
